FAQ's

Do you accept orders placed outside of Canada?

Currently, we only accept orders from Canada and the USA.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Please allow for 1-3 days for regular orders for me to process and prepare your order.  I make all of my products by hand from raw materials.  I try to have as many of my listed products finished and ready to ship as possible, but it sometimes happens that a products sells out.  If that happens with a product you've ordered, I will contact you with the estimated timeframe to completion of your order.  Once your order has shipped, the length of time your order takes to arrive, depends on where you are, and which shipping service you chose.  Custom orders may take longer.

What will it cost to ship?

Shipping fees depend on the weight of your order, the distance it has to travel, and the speed with which you want it to arrive.  We do our best to find the least expensive option before shipping your order.

How will my order ship?

Most of the time we use Canada Post to ship.  Each order will be shipped with a tracking number.

What is your return policy?

We will accept returns for products within 14 days of the original shipping date and provide a full refund for the cost of the item, as long as the item and its packaging are returned in their original, saleable condition.  However, shipping fees are non-refundable.  Any return shipping fees are the total responsibility of the customer.  We DO NOT accept returns on custom orders.

Do you accept custom orders?

Absolutely!  Please contact us with your idea and we'll go from there.

Why do you use Bright/ Anodized Aluminum in your Chainmaille Jewellery Collection?

We chose to use Bright / Anodized Aluminum in our Fun Jewellery collections for several reasons.  Firstly, it provides a similar look to silver but without the cost or the upkeep associated with silver jewellery.  There is no need to polish bright aluminum.  Secondly, both bright and anodized alumninum are very light-weight metals, and pieces made from these metals are great for people who don't like heavy jewellery.

What is Niobium?

Niobium is a relatively new metal to the jewellery scene.  It is perfect for people with allergies to nickel, as it is relatively rare for people to react to this metal.

What is Chainmaille?

Quite simply, chain mail is the art of linking small metal rings in a predetermined pattern to form a mesh. One of the oldest forms of armor, chain mail has more recently evolved into trendy jewellery, and many chainmaille jewellers used the French spelling, ‘chainmaille’, to distinguish it from armor. It isn’t completely separate, as many of the modern jewellery weaves are descended from those used to craft armor.
